Papers of several generations of the Williamson family include estate papers of Daniel Williamson (d.1812); account books of Jedediah Williamson for carpentry and wagon repair, 1792-1833; account books of William S. Williamson for carting, 1821-1858; family letters from Seth Williamson in Orange County, N.Y. and Pike County, Pennsylvania, 1810-1835. Papers of John S. Williamson include military papers; deeds, bonds, and other legal documents relating to his career as a lawyer; and letters to him while serving in the New York State Assembly in Albany on a variety of political, legal and business topics. Correspondents include Selah B. Strong, Oran W. Rogers, John R. Satterly, George S. Phillips, Elnathan Hawkins and others.
